Russian air defense is losing the battle with Ukrainian drones

According to the new data of Western intelligence, Russia supports a branched air defense network, but this did not prevent Ukraine from struck with long -range drones. According to Business Insider, in recent weeks, Ukrainian drones have inflicted a series of attacks on important Russian ammunition depots, causing significant damage and destroying a large amount of weapons required to support the Russian army.

These strikes confirm the success of Ukrainian programs for the creation of long -range drones and call into question the effectiveness of Russian air defense in protecting their strategic objects. The UK Ministry of Defense noted that the rapid attacks of Kyiv point to the difficulties of Russia in the fight against Ukrainian drones, despite its developed air defense network, which includes "Earth-Air Land" missiles, electronic means of fighting, anti-aircraft units and fighters.

The Ukrainian side states that its drones have been able to bypass Russian defense and strike at ammunition in the Volgograd region, which became another attack on Russian facilities. According to British intelligence, such blows will probably lead to a further dispersion of the Russian logistics system due to fears of new attacks, which will further complicate the provision of military.

Analysts of the Institute of War Study also indicate that regular strikes in Russian warehouses can force Moscow to dispersed their logistics to reduce their vulnerability. Despite all its efforts, Russia has not been able to effectively reflect the attacks of Ukrainian drones at a considerable distance since the beginning of the war.

In recent months, Ukraine has successfully attacked important military and energy facilities in Russia, relying on the drones of domestic production, since the use of Western missiles for strikes in the Russian territory is prohibited. Kiev continues to insist on the removal of these restrictions, believing that it will allow to undermine Russia's military potential even more.
