Despite the fact that Russian troops remain in the territory of Belarus, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have not yet recorded the creation of shock formations there. This information was conveyed by the spokesman of the United President of Defense of the Northern Direction Yuri Powkh in an interview with Radio Liberty.
According to him, the Armed Forces carefully control any movement and activity of military groups in Belarus. There are currently no signs of formation of impact enemy groups at the border with Belarus, and the situation remains controlled.
The Russian troops that remain in Belarus are limited to the personnel of the transmission units and aerodrome staff. In particular, there is no tank or infantry formations that can be used for the offensive.
The spokesman explained that the troops previously located in Belarus were thrown to the east and south of Ukraine. Russia used Belarusian landfills to train and provide its military formations, and warehouses and stocks of the Belarusian Armed Forces were used as donor resources.
