Russian troops occupied a new village in Donbas

Russian occupation troops captured another village in Donbas, continuing their advance in eastern Ukraine. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Russians occupied the village of Illinka, located in the Kurakhiv community of the Pokrovsky district of the Donetsk region. Before the start of the full-scale war, about 440 people lived in Illinka.

In addition to Illinka, the Russian invaders also had partial success in advancing near Kupyansk in Kharkiv Oblast and several settlements in Donetsk Oblast. In particular, the occupiers advanced near the villages of Dalnye and Trudove in the Kurakhiv community, as well as near the village of Novodonetske in Donetsk region.

According to the latest data from the General Staff, a significant part of the enemy's attacks are currently concentrated in the Kurakhovo region, which indicates the attempt of the occupiers to strengthen their control over the territory and further advance in Donbas.
