President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Russian strikes in the civil infrastructure of Ukraine are purposeful terror, which can be terminated by one order by the leadership of the Russian Federation. He reported this in his address on April 22, published on Telegram.
According to the Head of State, the last day Russian troops caused cruel and cynical blows to Kharkiv and Zaporizhzhia. Odesa and other regions of the country also appeared under attacks.
"All this is a completely conscious Russian terror, which is terminated by one order, but by order in Russia and for the Russian army. Easter proved when there were no air anxieties in Ukraine," Zelensky stressed.
The President recalled that Ukraine has previously initiated the ceasefire, at least for the shelling of civilian objects, and this proposal remains valid. He stressed that the implementation of this initiative requires a genuine interest from the Russian Federation.
"Our ceasefire proposal for civilian objects also remains in force. Russia is needed to talk about it. There is no obstacle on the Ukrainian side and will not be," Zelensky assured.
The presidential statement was made against the backdrop of the continuation of missile and drone attacks by the Russian Federation, which regularly lead to victims among civilians and destruction of infrastructure. The Ukrainian side emphasizes the need for international pressure on the Kremlin to force it to stop the purposeful destruction of peaceful cities.
