According to Bloomberg, Russia is actively increasing the supply of energy to China by entering into an agreement between Gazprom and China National Petroleum Corp. The project envisages an early increase in gas supply through the Siberia Power Gas pipeline to maximum capacity by the end of this year.
"The parties have agreed on additional deliveries for December, which will provide as soon as possible an increase in the daily supplies of gas to China to the maximum level," - said in Gazprom.
Project capacity - 38 billion cubic meters per year. In parallel, another gas pipeline from the Far East is developed with a capacity of 10 billion cubic meters. Construction goes according to plan, start - in 2027. Discussion of the third route, "Siberia - 2", was delayed due to differences in price.
Meanwhile, it is also reported that Russian oil exports to China in August increased by 25.6% in monthly terms to 9.37 million tons. In monetary terms, the figure increased by 20.6%to $ 5.38 billion.
Russia continues to lead among the countries that supply China oil. The second place is occupied by Saudi Arabia, whose deliveries decreased by 13.4%in eight months, to 52.08 million tons.
