Russia changed the tactics of storms - data from the front

Russian troops have changed the strategy of using armored vehicles on the front - now instead of mass assault, equipment is used point and predictably. Recently, there has been an increase in the number of mechanized attacks, which are conducted in the same sections of the line of combat collision, at least twice a week.

This was reported by the Lieutenant of the Armed Forces with the call sign "Alex" in his Telegram channel "Officer+".

According to the military, during the last 3-4 months the invaders almost did not use armored vehicles in storms. Both the columns of BMPs and tanks disappeared, as well as the typical fire support of the assault groups by the armor. Mechanized assaults are up to twice a week. Columns consist of a minimum of 10 units of armored vehicles. All attacks occur in the same directions where, according to the Russians, there is a greatest chance for a breakthrough. In other areas of the front, the equipment is not used, or it is extremely rare to maintain infantry.

Such changes in tactics indicate a deficiency of technology in the enemy and force him to concentrate armor only on individual, priority areas. This, in turn, indicates that the Russian army has limited opportunities for large-scale offensive actions-even at the level of operational-tactical tasks.
