On August 18 in the morning, the Kyiv region was a new rocket attack by the enemy. During the shelling, 18 houses were destroyed and damaged, and power lines and several cars were injured. This was reported by the head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration Ruslan Kravchenko.
According to him, the air defense system (air defense) was actively active, resulting in a few hostile goals. Kravchenko emphasized that there was no hit into critical and housing infrastructure objects, and there were no victims.
However, the fragments of the fallen missile caused significant destruction in one of the communities in the territory of three garden societies, which recorded damage to private homes. The attack destroyed two homes, and 16 more were damaged, including knocked out windows, damaged facades and roofs. Four cars, fences and transmission lines were also damaged.
Rescuers of the State Emergency Service (SES) are actively working at the site of events, providing assistance to citizens affected by destruction. Operational groups continue to eliminate the effects of rocket attack and restore infrastructure.
