In the occupied territory on the right bank of the Kherson region, pyrotechnicians managed to successfully demine more than 156,000 hectares of land, of which 133,000 are agricultural fields. This is 23% of the total area. Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson regional administration, shared this information during the telethon.
"During nine months, the capacity of demining works increased almost 10 times. If in March 80 sappers were working on these works, now there are more than 800 of them. Work groups operate around the clock," said Oleksandr Prokudin.
