Lithuanian intelligence: Russia may continue military operations against Ukraine for at least two years

According to Lithuania's military intelligence report, Russia has sufficient resources for a war against Ukraine at a current rate for at least two more years. The State Security Counterintelligence Department and the Military Intelligence and Security Service at the Lithuanian National Defense Ministry have reached such conclusions in the joint report.

It is noted that Russia has the opportunity to wage war due to high oil prices, state investment and evasion of international sanctions. It is worth noting that in 2023 Russia strengthened its army and began reform, and is now actively working on expanding military potential along the border with NATO countries.

The report states that Moscow has taken over the experience gained and plans to increase its combat capability. Regarding the supply of weapons, Russia receives it from Iran and North Korea, and has a considerable amount of microchips from China, and Yuan has become the main currency for international operations of the Russian Federation.

The report also states that Russia is actively building infrastructure in Belarus for the possible use of nuclear weapons.
