The Security Service of Ukraine appealed to the citizens to comply with the safety measures during the Easter holidays because of the threat from the Russian special services. On Friday, April 18, the Office published an official message with warnings and recommendations on holiday behavior.
According to the SBU, Russia continues to actively use the means of subversive activity in the territory of Ukraine. In particular, it is an attempt to create artificial conflicts between representatives of different denominations and religious communities. In addition, Russian intelligence services attract agents to organize terrorist attacks and adjust air attacks on civil infrastructure.
The greatest threat is the places of mass accumulation of people, which can become a target during rocket firing and provocations on religious or inter -denominational soil.
In this regard, the SBU recommends Ukrainians:
-
limit participation in mass events, especially on Easter night;
-
not to succumb to provocations or calls for illegal actions;
-
strictly adhere to the curfew established in the region;
-
respond carefully to air alarm signals and go to the shelter in time;
-
notify law enforcement agencies about suspicious persons or items.
The special service urges citizens to be as vigilant and responsible as possible to avoid danger and not allow the enemy to implement provocative scenarios. Easter should remain a holiday of peace, unity and security - and every Ukrainian is an important condition for this.
