The National Police has started an investigation into possible abuse of officials of the Agency for Investigation and Assets Management (ARMA). It is an illegal receipt of disability groups by some officials during the war.
- Facts and suspicions
- Criminal proceedings were opened on October 25 under articles on official forgery and abuse of office.
- According to the investigation, the ARMA officials probably received fictitious certificates of disability with the assistance of medical and social expert commissions (MSEC).
- Actions of law enforcement officers
- Police have applied to the court to provide access to the medical documentation of officials who have established a disability group.
- Five agency staff are currently being checked. Among them, according to UNN, is the adviser to the chairman of the ARMA Alexander Danilkovich.
If the facts of illegal receipt of disability groups are confirmed, it may cause personnel changes in the agency. In particular, the situation may end with the release of the ARMA Helen Duma, as such scandals undermine confidence in the institution's management.
This scandal adds to the List of ARMA calls, an organization that plays a key role in the search, arrest and asset management during the war. The identification of potentially illegal actions among the agency's officials can adversely affect its reputation, especially in conditions where the role of such structures is extremely important to ensure the transparency and efficiency of public administration.
