The midfielder of the Belgian Club "Westerlo" Serhiy Sidorchuk commented on the possibility of returning to Dynamo Kiev, where he spent more than a decade of his career. In a conversation with Football.ua, the footballer said he did not consider returning to the capital club as a player.
"I said that I do not say 'Farewell' Dynamo at all. As a football player I do not want to be a burden for Dynamo, I will not take this step," Sidorchuk emphasized.
According to him, in the present composition of "white-blue" there are young players who hold his former position worthy, demonstrating progress and potential.
"To be honest, I do not look at Dynamo as a football player. There are young boys in my positions that develop. I don't see the point of moving it. Those players who are there now really deserve to play Dynamo. And God forbid, they will grow from even better football players," he added.
We will remind, Sergey Sidorchuk advocated Dynamo from 2013 to 2023. During this time, he became a team captain, won several championships and cups of Ukraine and was a major player in the European Cup arena. In September 2023, the footballer joined the Belgian Westerlo.
Sidorchuk also has experience in speeches for the national team of Ukraine, for which he spent more than 50 matches.
