Nikiforov noted that both leaders had a constructive dialogue. Volodymyr Zelensky called Donald Trump not to pay attention to the attempts of some countries to justify the actions of Russian President Vladimir Putin. Zelensky stressed that Putin is a common criminal who has no excuses for his actions.
During the conversation, the President of Ukraine also informed Trump about the recent Russian blow to Nikolaev, which resulted in the death of Ukrainians, and discussed the attack on Okhmatdit in Kiev on July 8.
Donald Trump, in turn, expressed the opinion that fake news should be avoided that claim that his victory in the election could be beneficial to Russia.

Trump, for his part, on the social network TruthSocial stated that he seeks to end the war in Ukraine and ensure peace in the world.
The details of a possible personal meeting between Zelensky and Trump are expected to be specified in the near future. Both leaders continue to discuss the issues of peaceful resolution of conflict and further cooperation.
