What should you know about electricity prices?

Electricity tariffs for the population will remain unchanged until May 2025. This was confirmed by the Minister of Energy of Ukraine Herman Galushchenko in response to a deputy's request.

Thus, in December, household consumers will continue to pay UAH 4.32 per 1 kWh. And for households that use electric heating, there is a reduced tariff-UAH 2.64 per 1 kWh for consumption up to 2000 kWh per month. According to Resolution No. 632, the approved electricity tariff will operate until April 30, 2025. Therefore, fears of rising prices during the heating season are unfounded: the cost of electricity will remain stable at least by May 2025.

Households that use electric heating can count on a preferential tariff of UAH 2.64 per 1 kWh, if consumption does not exceed 2000 kWh per month. If this limit is exceeded, all consumed electricity will be paid at the standard tariff-4.32 UAH per 1 kWh. For Ukrainians with two -zone meters, there is a profitable "night" tariff. In the period from 23:00 to 7:00, the cost of electricity is only half the standard price. This makes it possible to significantly reduce electricity costs, especially when using devices at night.

According to the Minister of Energy Minister, electricity tariffs will remain stable until the end of the heating season of 2024-2025. This means that Ukrainians may not worry about rising prices in the near future. However, after this period, tariffs are possible depending on the economic situation and energy balance of the country.
