As of today, 31 states have joined the G7 declaration, which provides support to Ukraine and its security guarantees. However, Austria, Croatia, Poland, Hungary, Slovakia and Malta remain among countries that have not yet joined this document.
The deputy head of the Presidential Office Andriy Sibiga during the broadcasting of the Telvahorphone. According to him, there are active negotiations with these countries to support them.
"We have significant progress on the track of securing security guarantees to Ukraine. The direction of security guarantees and the formula of peace is one of the most important achievements of Ukraine's foreign policy this year. And in both these areas we have significant progress," he emphasized.
Andriy Sibiga also noted that 31 states have already joined the G7 declaration, which provides for long -term security guarantees. It happened quickly, and 10 states signed the document on the first day, and the other 20 - in the first month from the beginning of the initiative.
An important step for Ukraine is to receive support and guarantees from other countries in the context of security, which is defined as a significant achievement in foreign policy. Active diplomatic efforts are expected to continue in order to attract more countries in the declaration.
