The South Korea government plans to use artificial intelligence (AI) to identify illegal strings and monitoring copyright violations. This innovative solution is part of a strategy aimed at protecting Korean content and promoting it in the international market.
The Ministry of Science and Communication Technologies of South Korea (Mist) intends to abandon traditional manual methods of identifying pirate content in favor of automated systems based on AI. This will significantly increase the efficiency of detecting and locking illegal strings, as well as reduce the time of checking such sites.
One of the main aspects of a strategy is to create a joint stock of 1 trillion Won (about $ 685 million) to expand the international influence of Korean content. South Korean companies plan to participate more actively in international media festivals, in particular at the Cannes Film Festival.
To ensure more availability of Korean content (K-Contents), the Government of South Korea intends to use technologies from giants such as Samsung and LG. They are already installed on 600 million TVs worldwide, which allows you to provide convenient access to Korean films, series and other media products.
