Switzerland will close the airspace over Bürgenstock during the Global Peace Summit

The Swiss government has approved the temporary closure of the airspace over the city of Burgenstok, where the global peace of peace will take place on June 15-16.

The statement of the executive body of the state states that the Swiss Air Force will ensure the closure of the sky over the city, and the Armed Forces will create supporting support service to ensure the safety of the West.

Government representatives emphasized that these measures are necessary to ensure the security of the International Conference. According to international law, Switzerland is obliged to guarantee the safety of guests who need special protection.

The releasing zone will work from 08:00 on June 13 to 20:00 on June 17. The city's airspace will be restricted to traffic on visual flight rules (VFR), non -profit flight flight rules (IFRs), and unmanned aircraft.

Switzerland's Federal Council also approved the deployment of up to 4,000 state servicemen to support security during the meeting of world leaders.

The number of soldiers that will be deployed in Burgentock depends on the terrain and the scale of the mission, including the number of objects to be protected.

The Council of Europe Secretary General Maria Peychinovich-Burich will come to the peace summit. In addition, India will also participate in the Global Peace Summit next month and in other important summits aimed at supporting global peace, safety and development.
