During the war, many of us had to use adhesive tape to seal windows. Now that it is time to clean windows, it is important to know effective methods. Here are some tips that will help you quickly and easily remove the adhesive from adhesive tape, but we warn you do not do it in advance while maintaining your health.
Tips for removing glue from adhesive tape from windows:
- Soda solution: dissolve 5 tbsp. tablespoons of baking soda in a glass of water. Soak the cloth in this solution and carefully treat the glass. Then use a sponge moistened with a soda solution to remove glue residues and wash the window with plain water.
- Vegetable oil: Use a cotton swab moistened with vegetable oil for friction of glass. Leave it for 15 minutes and then wipe it with a sponge. Wash the oil with dishwasher.

Solvent: Acetone or gasoline can be used to remove glue residues from adhesive tape. Soak a sponge in acetone or gasoline and wipe the glue traces, then rinse the window again with water. Note that this method can be accompanied by a smell, and in the case of gasoline - a high price. However, if you choose this method, be careful and be sure to ventilate the room.
