Slovakia has announced the termination of military aid to Ukraine from its own reserves, RBC-Ukraine reports with reference to the Ministry of Defense of Slovakia. The head of the Ministry of Defense of Slovakia, Robert Kaliniak, expressed this decision during a meeting with the Secretary General of NATO, Jens Stoltenberg, in Brussels.
Despite the cessation of military aid, Slovakia remains committed to supporting Ukraine, offering "a fairly wide range of humanitarian, civilian and technical non-lethal assistance." The Ministry of Defense emphasizes that this innovation is taking place with full respect for the decision of the new government of Ukraine.
The question of future aid for Ukraine was also an important topic of the negotiations between Kaliniak and Stoltenberg, which took place in Brussels on the eve of the meeting of defense ministers of the European Union member states.
