Two years ago, approximately at 3:40, the first column of Russian tanks broke into the territory of Lugansk region, causing the first blow to Ukraine in the form of missile attacks.
This year, on the second anniversary of a full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, the arrival of leaders of partner states is expected. In particular, on February 24, online conservation of G7 countries with the participation of Ukraine is planned.
In addition, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky will hold a press conference on Sunday, February 25. On the same day, a conference with the participation of the military-political leadership of Ukraine is planned, which will discuss the development of the Ukrainian army, integration into the EU and NATO, as well as the restoration of physical and mental health of the affected Ukrainians.
During the two years of a full -scale war, Ukraine has caused significant losses of Russia in both people and in weapons and equipment. According to official data as of February 23, 2024, about 408 thousand 240 Russian soldiers were eliminated forces of Ukraine's defense.
Also during this period a considerable amount of enemy equipment was destroyed: 6526 tanks, 12 410 combat armored vehicles, 9916 artillery systems and more.
As part of the exchanges of prisoners between Ukraine and Russia, more than 2.6 thousand Ukrainian military and about 150 civilians returned to their homeland.
However, during this time, more than 30,000 peaceful Ukrainians suffered, and about 10,000 people were killed.
As of February 23, more than 1758 children were injured in Ukraine because of the full -scale armed aggression of Russia. 528 children were killed and more than 1230 were injured in varying severity.
