SpaceX has signed a contract to launch nine missions for the US Space Force

The US space forces reported that SpaceX has received a major contract worth $ 733.6 million to carry out nine space missions related to national security. According to Space.com, these missions provide launches for two key US government agencies.

Missions for national security

Of the nine planned missions, seven will be performed for the SDA Agency (SDA), which is subject to the US space forces. The other two launches will be performed for the National Recognition Office (NRO) - the structures responsible for managing American intelligence satellites.

SDA missions details have not yet been solved. However, it is known that NRO launches will be made from the Vandenberg Space Forces base in California, planned for the fourth quarter of 2025 and 2026 financial years.

In addition, SpaceX continues to actively run its Falcon 9 missile system. On October 19, the company successfully launched the next Starlink satellite batch from Florida Space. The launch took place at 02:21 Kyiv time, and the first stage of the rocket successfully landed on the unmanned Just Read The Instructions in the Atlantic Ocean 8.5 minutes after the start. The satellites were unfolded in orbit 64 minutes after launch.
