SpaceX is preparing for a historical event that can change your view on commercial space travel. According to The Independent, on August 27, SpaceX will make the first commercial flight in the history of open space.
The mission is funded and headed by the American billionaire Jared Eisekman, for whom it will be the second space flight. His previous mission was part of the first private space trip to the orbital station.
The planned flight should be a record, because the crew will go further from the ground than any of the Apollo program more than 50 years ago.
