Police of the Ternopil region found that five people, including the head of the local shopping center and employees of this center, organized corruption schemes of avoidance of mobilization. In the organized criminal group, these persons demanded money from the conscripts, threatened them, beat and abducted people, in particular in cases where deferrals were required from service or non-departing the Military Medical Commission.
Investigators gathered new evidence of unlawful activities and learned about new victims that were not mobilized but were intimidated and forced to pay. Among the victims is a resident of the Chortkiv district, who was brutally beaten and demanded. The total amount of illegal wages of the attackers ranged from $ 100,000 to $ 150,000 per month.
After the suspicion was announced, the court chose the suspected preventive measures, but the investigation continues. Police call all the victims to seek an objective number of casualties. Investigators appealed to the detention of suspects without the right to make bail.
