On April 23, a Ukrainian delegation was held in London with Kit Kelloga, a special representative of the US President for Ukraine. The negotiations discussed ways of resolving the war and the possibility of peace.
Kellogo on the social network X called the meeting positive and noted that it was time to move forward on the directive of President Donald Trump to end the war between Ukraine and Russia. He emphasized the need to stop killings, peace and priority of American interests.
Before negotiations with Kelloga, the Ukrainian delegation consulted with national security advisers of Great Britain, Germany and France. This demonstrates the coordinated diplomatic work of Kiev with European partners.
The head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak noted that the Ukrainian side clearly outlined its position. According to him, the immediate, full and unconditional ceasefire should be the first step before the negotiations on a fair and long peace.
The parties have agreed to keep contact and continue the dialogue in the future.
