The Ukrainian delegation has announced important negotiations with representatives of the United States, which included important steps to ensure the security and stability of Ukraine in the conditions of a long war. One of the key results was the US decision to immediately cancel the intelligence and resume security assistance to Ukraine. This step is of great importance for enhancing Ukraine's defense capability, in particular in the fight against Russia's aggression.
One of the main issues of negotiation was the ceasefire issue. Ukraine has made a willingness to accept the US proposal to introduce a temporary, 30-day ceasefire regime, which may be extended by mutual consent of the parties, provided that Russia would accept and comply with this condition. The US has promised to bring to Russia that reciprocity is needed to achieve peace.
At the same time, during the negotiations, an agreement was reached to participate in European partners in the peace process. The Ukrainian delegation emphasized the importance of involving Europe in negotiations to ensure a stable and long -term peace in the region.
Another important topic of negotiations was the conclusion of an agreement on the development of critical mineral resources of Ukraine. Presidents of Ukraine and the USA, Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Donald Trump have agreed to accelerate the process of concluding an agreement to strengthen Ukraine's economy and ensure its long -term prosperity and security. This strategically important solution will help the country to develop key resources for economic growth.
Both delegations also discussed the importance of humanitarian efforts in the introduction of a temporary ceasefire. Particular attention was paid to the exchange of prisoners of war, the release of held civilians and the return of forcibly displaced Ukrainian children.
