US deploys F-15E fighter jets over Iranian threat

The US Department of Defense has sent 12 F-15E fighter jets to the Middle East in response to rising tensions in the region. This is due to a possible attack by Iran on Israel, as a response to the recent exchange of blows between these states. The planes are already on their way to Jordan, where they will reinforce American forces already deployed in the region.

At the moment, there is no official confirmation from the US military, but data from flight tracking sites indicate the movement of F-15E fighters towards Jordan.

The situation escalated after Iran's leaders warned that they were ready to carry out a "punitive" attack against Israel in response to Israeli airstrikes on Iranian territory on October 26. The Israeli strikes, in turn, were a response to a massive ballistic missile attack by Iran on October 1. According to reports, an Iranian attack could be carried out as early as this week, and the launch of missiles could take place from Iraqi territory.

Previously, US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin ordered the strengthening of the military presence in the Middle East, sending strategic bombers B-52 Stratofortress, refueling planes and destroyers of the US Navy to the region. Such actions indicate Washington's desire to contain potential threats and strengthen the security of allies in the region.
