The White House Advisor on National Security Jake Sullivan has announced that by mid -January, the United States would transfer a large -scale military assistance party to Ukraine that will include artillery shells, missiles and armored vehicles.
During a long one hour of meeting, Sullivan confirmed:
- Hundreds of thousands of additional artillery shells needed to keep the front;
- Thousands of rockets , including high -tech for HIMARS systems;
- Hundreds of armored cars that will be key in offensive and defense operations.
In addition, the United States plans to assist Ukraine in the preparation of mobilized soldiers that will be held abroad.
Sullivan also recalled an almost completed agreement on granting a $ 20 billion , which will be provided with frozen Russian assets. According to the adviser, this decision will promote financial stability and strengthening of Ukraine's defense capability.
Sanctions against Russia also remain an important pressure tool. In the coming weeks, the United States will announce a new package of restrictions aimed at weakening the military resources of the Russian Federation and complicating its economic activity.
These measures are intended not only to strengthen Ukraine's ability to effectively resist aggression, but also to strengthen its position in potential negotiations.
