The US is inspecting 100 vessels for violation of oil sanctions against Russia

The US Ministry of Finance sends reports to companies that manage about 100 vessels suspected of violating oil sanctions against Russia. The letters were the greatest step in the government after the introduction of limits for oil prices. The companies have received requests for information to collect parts for ships that may be related to the transportation of Russian oil, which was unloaded in various ports, including Kozmino and Primorsk.

The US Department of Finance has taken a huge step in investigating possible violations of sanctions against Russia. It was noted that some of the ships were checked in the unloading of Russian oil from Kozmino and the Primorsky Port, which was the reason for the US government to take measures.

The letters were sent to companies in about 30 countries. Information queries are a standard step in investigating sanctions and are designed to obtain details about companies that were engaged in freight and purchase of oil for further transportation.

The media stressed that these actions are the highest after imposing restrictions on oil prices and indicate the seriousness of the US in relations with sanctions against Russia. It is noted that companies and governments of different countries are now under pressure from providing detailed information about their vessels and trade in Russian oil.

These steps can have a significant impact on the petroleum market and cause redistribution of routes and partners in oil trading. The situation should be followed in view of the possible further reactions and consequences for international relations.
