In the light of prolonged delay in providing assistance to Ukraine, the US and its international partners have committed themselves to accelerate the pace of arms supply, US Secretary of State said Anthony Blinken.
Blinken stressed that the delay in approving an additional budget request and supplying equipment for Ukraine influenced the situation on the ground. "This week we have allocated a defense equipment for Ukraine worth about $ 400 million from additional funding. We make every effort to speed up this process. EU countries are also making efforts in this direction," he said.
The interlocutor added that the US and more than 50 other countries support Ukraine and are not going to stop in their efforts. This support will continue.
