US will celebrate Victory Day in World War II May 8

US President Donald Trump in his social network Truth Socal said that the United States would celebrate May 8 as a Victory Day in World War II, and November 11 - as Victory Day in the First World War.

In his post, Trump noted that the United States had made more than any other country to win in the Second World War, but do not celebrate it properly.

"Many of our allies and friends are celebrated on May 8 as a Victory Day, but we did a lot more than anyone else to achieve victory. I rename on May 8 on Victory Day in World War II," he wrote.

Trump also stressed that the United States won both world wars and stated that the country should start celebrating its own victories again.

"We will start celebrating our victories again," he added.
