The court will consider a petition to suspend the court proceedings against the former MP Ruslan Solvar, who is accused of illegally receiving compensation for housing, in connection with his mobilization to the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The WACS Appeal Chamber has postponed the request by June 26 to investigate the details of Solvar's mobilization to the Ukrainian army. According to his defender, Solvar received a summons on the street, just left the hospital. Because he is a reserve lieutenant, he was immediately sent to the front.
Many meetings in the Solvar case were postponed due to his illness and severe health. The reason for the postponement of the meeting on May 24 was the hospitalization of the solvar. Only the last word of the accused remained in his case.
Earlier, Solvar's defenders proposed to conclude a guilty agreement with the prosecutor, but the agreement was not reached. Solvar, who became a deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine in 2019, was accused of the Specialized Anti -Corruption Prosecutor's Office of illegal compensation for the alleged lack of his own housing, which led to illegal seizure of more than 360 thousand hryvnias.
In 2021 he was justified, but next year the justification sentence was canceled and awarded three years in prison. In December 2023, Solvar's case was sent to a new consideration, canceling the sentence.
According to the Honest movement, Solvar was a "walk" in the Verkhovna Rada, conducted early agitation and was a "Grechkosi".
