The court chose a measure of restraint for the head of the SBU Anti -Terrorist Center Dmitry Kozuri in the form of detention without the possibility of bail until April 11. This information was reported by the public on February 13.
During the court session, the prosecutor reported that Kozuri through the Signal messenger twice transmitted the FSB information concerned with the consequences of rocket attacks. In addition, another episode was recorded - the transfer of state secret. This prosecution was the basis for the decision to detention.
The suspect's lawyer invited a house arrest for Kozyura, noting that his client is working with the investigation. According to him, Kozyura confessed that he has been working on the FSB since 2018 and continued his cooperation after the start of a full -scale invasion of Russia. The lawyer also emphasized the medical problems of his client, in particular on high pressure and the need for medical treatment.
This case became part of the SBU investigation, which recently exposed espionage among its employees. One of the detected agents was Kozyura, who, according to the investigation, worked on the Russian FSB. This revelation is part of the operation to dispose of a hostile agent network in Ukraine.
