Aston Martin has introduced a new flagship DBX S crossover, which, according to the manufacturer, is the most powerful serial SUV in the world. It is a deeply upgraded version of the DBX707, created using the technologies of the Valhalal Supercard.
Under the novelty hood-a 4-liter V8 Twin-Turbo engine, whose power is increased to 727 horsepower. This result was achieved through advanced compressors, the updated internal structure of the unit and the introduction of Valhalala components. Acceleration up to 100 km/h takes only 3.3 seconds, and the maximum speed is 311 km/h. Power is transmitted through a 9-stage transmission with a wet clutch.
Engineers were actively working on weight loss. The DBX S received a carbon roof that allowed to reduce the weight by 18 kg and improve weight distribution. For the first time, magnesium discs are used among SUV, which reduce the unshaped mass by 19 kg. The radiator polycarbonate lattice and carbon body elements were also used.
The car is equipped with an updated pneumatic suspension with electronic shock absorbers. The brake system includes carbon-ceramic discs with a diameter of 420 mm in front and 390 mm behind.
The DBX S design has a new black radiator grille, aggressive bumpers, diffuser and four vertical exhaust nozzles. The car has a special sports left in the colors of Rosso Corsa Red, Trophy Silver and Podium Green. On the wings there is a corporate emblem with the letter "S".
The interior was also updated. The sports seats are decorated with a Christmas tree pattern, and the brand emblem is engraved on the headrests. The basic audio system is 800-watt with 14 speakers, and the Bowers & Wilkins premium 1600 watts with 23 speakers, adapted to the acoustic features of the DBX S.
