The World Bank is increasing financing of climate projects for developing countries

The World Bank plans to expand the funding of climate projects by cooperating with the heads of 15 international banks. The main focus of the institution is to develop approaches that will help developing countries to adapt to climate change and switch to environmentally friendly energy.

When working with other banks, the World Bank focuses on creating simplified warranty products that can be used in different markets. As part of the initiative, the Bank also allowed some countries to suspend debt payments and organize a fund to compensate for climate change.

Earlier it was reported that the World Bank will allocate an additional $ 610 million assistance package to Ukraine. The President of the World Bank, David Malpas, emphasized that the account for the restoration of Ukraine continues to grow and there is no "fatigue of donors".
