The news about the discontinuation of Toyota Camry sedan production in Japan was already known at the beginning of this year. However, Toyota management has no intention of abandoning this model and plans to continue selling it in most global markets, introducing a new generation soon.
In October, it became known about the partial disclosure of the exterior of the new Toyota sedan. Many expect it to be the new Camry (XV80). Based on this information, an independent designer called Theottle has created a concept that shows how the new Toyota sedan in the new generation could look.
The designer believes that the new Camry took inspiration from the line of modern Crown models, and especially in the form of C-shaped optics. This version is probably the most realistic, as similar headlights were seen on the teaser of the mysterious sedan.
There are still no technical details about the new model, but some sources indicate that the Camry will receive a 2.5-liter hybrid power plant with 236 horsepower, as well as a more productive option based on a 2.4-liter turbo engine (for the TRD version). It is expected that the new model will be presented before the end of this year.
