July 2025 in Ukraine can bring significant warming after a rather cool June. The weather forecaster Vitaliy Zrrigan reported on his Facebook page.
According to him, June this year seemed unusually fresh and even cool, especially compared to typical summer indicators. However, the forecaster warns: July can change the situation dramatically.
As an example, he cites meteorological conditions in Cherkasy region. There, June has every chance of entering climate history as one of the most dry and temperature and contrast in the last 100 years. Since the beginning of the month, only 9-30 mm of rainfall has fallen in the region, which is 12-40% of the monthly norm.
The cause of such anomalous weather is associated with the influence of active Atlantic cyclones that interact with the Azores anticyclone. This is what caused the lack of heat and the lack of traditional summer heat.
However, the weather forecaster expects July to bring a return to the usual summer climate with higher temperatures and probably the hot days characteristic of this month.
