Situations when an apology is not mandatory

Often, people apologize for the concern for the thoughts of others or because of excessive attention to the feelings of others, which cause harm to their own interests and needs. However, there are situations where apology is not necessary.

Emotions indicate that we are all living people with our own feelings. Experts advise to accept and afford to experience all emotions. However, there are cases where the apology should not be sought:

  1. They learned the annoying news and could not restrain their tears.
  2. They were happy so much that they started jumping from happiness.
  3. They felt ashamed and frowned.
  4. They were upset and "snapped" from the intention of keeping emotions.
  5. They were frightened and lost, losing control.

Psychologists argue that such reactions are natural, because they reflect the interaction with the surrounding world.

It is important to remember that your own emotions, feelings and actions are the result of your beliefs and perception. However, if your emotions make severe discomfort for another person, it is important to express sympathy and understanding.

This is your life and you should be comfortable to express your emotions. However, it is important to keep the balance and take into account the feelings of people important to you by choosing your priorities.

Not everyone has the duty to apologize or justify for their appearance. Everyone decides on how to look and should not apologize for their weight, height or body features.

The words "I'm sorry if ..." or "I'm sorry, but ..." can apologize to the conditional, passing guilt to another person. The use of such statements can be regarded as an apology for yourself, not for a specific situation.

An apology should express fairly approved responsibility. You can use the following words instead:

  1. Sorry.
  2. Excuse me.
  3. I apologize.
  4. Give.
  5. Sorry.
