Toyota Japanese motor building company demonstrated striking results for February 2025, reaching record car production indicators in both domestic and international markets. According to KYODO News, global sales of Toyota increased by 5.8% compared to the previous year, reaching 761 717 units. At the same time sales inside Japan were jumped by 28.2%, which was 133 287 cars.
In particular, the production of cars outside Japan has reached a historic record, increasing by 0.6% to 493 418 units, which is the best result for this month in the history of the company.
One of the largest factors that affected the total records was the significant increase in production in China, which jumped by 25.6%. This growth was made possible by increasing the number of working days at enterprises. In addition, the domestic production of cars in Japan itself also showed striking results, increasing by 16.2%, which amounted to 286 372 units.
At the same time, in other regions, such as Europe and North America, the company faced some difficulties. The production of cars in Europe decreased by 18%, which was caused by fewer working days, while in North America production decreased by 1.1%.
As for sales, the Chinese market has shown significant growth by 15%, which was the result of successful advertising campaigns and high demand for new models. However, sales in North America decreased by 6.5%, which was due to a shortage of hybrid cars, the demand for which in the region has increased significantly. In Europe, Toyota sales grew by 1.7%, which indicates a brand stability even in difficult conditions.
Toyota continues to invest in the development of new models and technologies, which allows the company to maintain high rates of production and sales in international markets. The forecasts for the future remain positive, especially thanks to strong positions in strategic regions such as China and Japan.
