On the morning of April 1, a deadly road accident with the participation of a minibus with Ukrainians took place in Austria. The accident happened at about 6:20 am in the region of Lower Austria, near the town of Zebenstein on the Southern Autoban (A2). According to the ORF Public TV radio, four people were severely injured as a result of the collision.
According to preliminary police data, the minibus crashed into a truck that was leaving from the parking space. A powerful frontal blow led to the fact that the passengers of the minibus were clamped in a mutilated vehicle. Rescuers used special hydraulic equipment for their liberation.
The accident caused considerable difficulties in the movement: the road to Vienna was blocked for several hours, and the length of the parish reached 10 kilometers.
The investigation is ongoing, and law enforcement officers establish all the circumstances of the tragedy. Ukrainian diplomats also keep the situation under control and provide the necessary assistance to the victims.
