US President Donald Trump said China has violated a trade agreement concluded between the countries in early May. He wrote about it on his social network Social on Friday, May 30.
According to Trump, the arrangement was reached to stabilize the internal situation in China, which, as he claims, could develop into serious riots. That is why the United States decided to make concessions to "save China from a bad situation."
"I concluded a quick deal with China to save them from what, in my opinion, could be a very bad situation, and I did not want it to happen. Thanks to this agreement, everything was stabilized quickly, and China returned to normal work.
However, he said, the Chinese side soon violated the conditions of the arrangements. He said: "China, which is probably not a surprise for some, has completely violated the agreement with us."
At the same time, Trump did not specify what points of arrangements it was about how the violation happened and what actions the American side plans to take.
