Trump is fighting again with journalists

US President Donald Trump has been criticized by the popular American show "60 minutes", which is released on CBS. On his social network Truth Social, the politician said that the show systematically humiliates his name, and this time "crossed the border".

The reason for the outrage was two stories - interviews with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and a report from Greenland, where journalists mentioned Trump's desire to allegedly influence the region.

In the program, Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that "100%" hates Russian President Vladimir Putin, and also invited Trump to visit Ukraine personally to see the consequences of the Russian invasion. Such statements are probably affected by Trump, who often tries to hold a neutral stance on the war in Ukraine. The second episode that caused Trump's reaction is a plot from Greenland. CBS correspondent John Wertheim told about local moods after Trump expressed the idea of buying an island a few years ago - it caused a wave of discussions and criticism, both in the US and in Denmark itself.

Trump called such stories "politically motivated operations under the guise of journalism" and called on the Federal Commission for Communications to impose maximum sanctions against CBS. He has already turned to the head of the department of Brendan Carr with the appropriate request. This is not Trump's first attack on journalists. Earlier, he filed a claim for $ 20 billion against 60 minutes, accusing manipulations during interview with Vice President Kamala Harris. He also threatened to restrict access to the Associated Press to the White House until they start calling the Gulf of Mexico - the "American".

CBS does not comment on Trump's new statements. At the same time, the Federal Commission for Communications has indeed been investigating the channel's actions, as well as by a number of other media.
