Winter in Ukraine has begun, but major frosts and snowfall are not expected. Instead, residents of the capital and other regions were warned of thick fog, which can create inconvenience for drivers and pedestrians.
On December 2, Kyiv covered the fog, which significantly reduced the visibility to 200-500 meters. Because of this, the capital also declared dangerous levels. Drivers are urged to be careful on the roads, because poor visibility can complicate traffic.
The air temperature in Kiev will range from 0 to +2 ° C today. In the morning it will be cloudy with clearings, but dry. In general, the weather will be calm on December 2, although it will not do without cloudy. In most regions of Ukraine, snow or rain is not expected. The temperature will last from -3 to +2 ° C, and in the western and southern regions it will be a little warmer -from +1 to +6 ° C. According to the Ukrhydromet Center, the next week will be cloudy, and the temperature will remain in the range from -2 to +2 ° C. In the second half of the week, the forecasters predict a slight cold.
Natalia Ptukha's weather forecaster also shared a forecast for the first decade of December, noting that there was no significant rainfall in early winter. Through thick fog, especially in the capital region, experts urge drivers to reduce speed, keep a safe distance between vehicles and avoid sharp maneuvers.
Despite the fog and cloudy, winter began to gently give the Ukrainians a little more time to prepare for the cold.
