Turkey has changed the rules for entering the country

Turkey is preparing to implement new security measures for foreigners entering the country. According to Sabah newspaper with reference to the head of the Turkish Ministry of Internal Affairs Ali Erlikai, there will now be removing fingerprints from the newcomers when entering the country, similar to practice in the US and the United Kingdom.

According to the information that appeared in the publication, innovation is part of a large -scale reform aimed at increasing the level of security and control over the crossing of borders. Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikai explained that this practice will help combat illegal migration and crime, as well as improve the process of identifying persons when crossing the border.

In addition to removing fingerprints, the innovation will include a person's chipping for people who will receive temporary protection status in Turkey, especially for Syrians. Chipping will ensure a high level of protection of forgery and abuse, and simplify the process of identifying and verifying persons receiving temporary protection.

“We have started printing new certificates of persons who are equipped with special chips. This step will help us better control and protect information about temporary protection persons. Thanks to a new chip system, it will be extremely difficult to fake these certificates, ”Ali Yerlikai said.

These measures are part of the overall Turkey Government Strategy to improve national security and managing migration processes. The introduction of new standards is expected to help reduce the risks associated with identification and increase the level of border crossing control.
