Experts from Berkshire Hathaway Travel Protection have performed a deep analysis of popular tourist places and rated, interviewing travelers who have visited different countries over the last five years. They explored how safe they felt there and whether they faced trouble.
In their analysis, experts also took into account the Global Peace Index and travel safety data from the US State Department.
Canada was defined as the safest country for tourists in 2024. It records a low level of violent crime, and the country is marked by tolerance to LGBTK+representatives, providing safety for lonely tours and has a minimal terrorist threat.
