"There is information that such a scenario is actively discussed. There is a high probability that the President will resign, in fact it will be drawn. Most likely, this may happen in August-September," Kobakhidze said.
He also suggested that Zurabishvili could support the opposition election campaign or participate in the parliamentary elections. "We all know in advance what the opposition will be built on the election in advance, and this radical opposition may need to support Salome Zurabishvili," he added.
It is noted that Zurabishvili has limited electoral resources, and parties can consider alternative scenarios, including displacement of the president.
The political expert also pointed out the possibility of leaving Zurabishvili as a president, as this may be a more pragmatic solution to political forces in the country.
