In the highlands of the Ivano-Frankivsk and eastern part of the Transcarpathian regions from March 21 to March 24, significant snow danger is expected due to warming and precipitation. This was reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service, referring to the data of the Ukrhydromet Center.
The level of danger is rated as a third, which means a high probability of climbing avalanches even with light pressure on the snow cover. Medium and large spontaneous avalanches are possible on many slopes.
Rescuers urge tourists to be as careful as possible and avoid avalanche -haired routes. They also emphasize the importance of planning their journeys and watching the weather forecasts.
Travels in dangerous areas should be postponed to improve the situation in order to avoid risk to life and health.
