In China, part of the Long March 2-C launch vehicle fell near a residential area

In China near the residential area, part of the Long March 2-C rocket launcher dropped, which launched the SVOM SVOM space apparatus into the orbit. The moment of fall was on a video that quickly became viral on social networks.

According to MINT and India Today, the incident happened on Saturday, June 22.

On that day, the Long March 2-C rocket with SVOM spacecraft started from Sichan's Sichan Sichport. After a short flight, the rocket accelerator separated and began to fall, while the device successfully continued its journey. The fall of the accelerator was accompanied by the release of orange fluid, probably fuel. The video shows the locals in a panic run, waiting for the explosion. Some of the rocket really exploded in wooded terrain, but there were no casualties. There is evidence that Chinese missiles are very dangerous for substances, which is why some social network users have been concerned about the possible negative impact of toxic substances on locals.

The National Space Administration of China stated that the mission was successful, and the 930-pound SVOM apparatus reached the given coordinates. SVOM will study gamma splaughters-one of the most powerful energy emissions in the universe, which arise is considered to be during the explosion of supernova or collision of neutron stars. Such bursts emit more energy in a few seconds than the sun in billions of years.
