There was an unusual situation in Kiev when a woman called an ambulance to check how quickly she came without needing medical help. For this act, it was brought to administrative responsibility and fined for UAH 3,400.
It all started when the woman called the special line 112 and reported that she had become bad in one of the shopping centers of Solomenskiy district of Kiev. A team of doctors came to the scene. However, after their arrival, the woman explained that she did not really need help, but simply decided to check how quickly the doctors would come if she reported that she was bad. Doctors, having learned about the falsehood of the call, were summoned to the scene of patrol officers. The woman was explained that her actions were a violation of the law. She made a resolution under Art. 183 of the Code of Administrative Offenses, which provides for responsibility for the deliberately false call of special services. For her actions, a woman should now pay a fine of 3 400 UAH. Kyiv Patrol Police stressed that such challenges are harmful not only to medical professionals, but also to anyone who really needs help. After all, every challenge is perceived as a real threat, and while doctors and law enforcement officers find out that information is false, other people may be left without help at a critical time.
This case was a reminder of the importance of responsible attitude to the call of emergency services. According to the law, a deliberately false call is an administrative offense and can lead to a fine. Doctors, police and rescuers are always ready to respond to challenges, and it is important not to abuse their work, as someone's life may depend on it.
