London discussed the ways to peace in Ukraine

Multilateral talks with the participation of representatives of Ukraine, the United Kingdom, France and Germany, which were dedicated to the search for ways to achieve just and sustained peace in Ukraine, have ended in London. This was announced by the Presidential Office of Ukraine on Wednesday, April 23.

The meeting was held at the official residence of the United Kingdom Ministry of Foreign Affairs at the invitation of David Lamma. The head of OP Andriy Yermak, Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga and Defense Minister Rustem Umerov took part in the negotiations.

European countries were represented by the national security advisor to the UK Prime Minister Jonathan Powell, Presidential Advisor to France, Emmanuel Bonn and German Chancellor Advisor on Foreign Policy and Security, Jens Pletsner.

Despite the absence of US officials, the participants of the meeting assured the support of US President's peace initiatives Donald Trump. According to the OP, the parties "emphasized the commitment to the peaceful efforts of President Donald Trump to end the war as soon as possible and achieve a fair and sustained peace."

"The participants of the meeting in London agreed to continue the dialogue and regular contacts to achieve the main goal - a sustainable peace for Ukraine," the President's office said.

This meeting was a continuation of the negotiations that took place last week in Paris. It testifies to the activation of the diplomatic efforts of Kyiv and its key partners in Europe to find the ways of completing a full -scale war that has been going on for the third year.

Against the background of President Trump's threats to "pause" in peace talks in the absence of progress, European partners seek to coordinate actions with the Ukrainian side, supporting Washington's official initiatives in parallel.
