The Bundestag Committee approved the participation of 35 political parties and associations in Germany in elections to the European Parliament.
Among them is the "last generation", an ecological movement that has become known for its actions of vandalism. Also, participation in the elections can be taken by the recently created Alliance of Sarah Vagenknecht, which is separated from the left party.
In addition to well -known political forces, parties such as the "Party of Mind", "The World of Man - for Welfare and Happiness of All", "Party of Traditional Medical Research of Rejudications" will compete for places in the European Parliament.
In order to get into the approved list, political forces not represented in the European Parliament, Bundestag or Landtag (Parliaments of Germany Federal Lands), it was necessary to collect a certain number of signatures of supporters and submit a statute and political program.
The age qualification for voters was reduced, so young people aged 16 years of age will be able to vote for the first time.
Elections to the European Parliament will take place from June 6 to June 9, 2024.
